Poblacion I, Cabuyao
Barangay I Poblacion or Barangay Poblacion I (or simply Barangay Uno) (PSGC: (043404002 )) is one of the eighteen (18) urbanized〔(Philippine Standard Geographic Code )〕 barangays comprising the City of Cabuyao in the province of Laguna, Philippines. It is one of the three (3) Poblacion barangays of the city. According to the 2010 Census, it has a population of 2,839 inhabitants (grew from 2,589 in Census 2007〔(2007 Census table for Laguna ) - National Statistics Office〕), ranking 14th when it comes to population. Barangay I is part of the City Proper or the Business District of Cabuyao, it is the center of commercial and business establishments in Cabuyao.
The oldest church that can be found in Cabuyao is located in Barangay I, the St. Polycarp Parish or the Vicariate of St. Polycarp that serves as the Mother church among the parishes within Cabuyao and Santa Rosa City. It is also the location of Cabuyao City Plaza, the Cabuyao Sports Complex and the site of St. Claire Monastery where big devotees visiting, praying and offering eggs in which they believe will bring good weather.
